Sami may remember this freakish/sweet drawing from the board at work. I miss the 2 of them, little sami, and sad little michael. Sad little michael was drawn on my bullitin board at work, and I loved him so much that I transfered him to paper so that he would last with me forver. If you look in the right hand side of this picture you can see a postcard that my sister sent me from india. Holding it up is a weird magnet with my laundry room keychain, which just happens to be a google keychain. In the upper left you may see a coupon for irish butter…no joke!

I liek this little bugger. One day maybe I will design a physical one of these toys out of wood and give it as a gift to one of the XX people who are having babies. I do not know a single person with a son…I feel sorry for them…girls drool…guys rule… ya know.

I have some magnetic/dry erase boards next to my desk and I have a few little scribble up there… I miss having time for messing around with art related thing. The last 2 years have been non stop work… I say fuck that… I took a week off last week. 5 days without a computer…I did not miss the thing at all, other then the security of the job that being wired provides.

Increase the Speed of Adobe Acrobat
here is a nifty little file that allows you to increase the speed at which adobe acrobat reader loads up. What it does is not load up many plugin that cause the system to hang every time you open a pdf file. Good stuff.

macular degeneration
This is just a reminder to myself of the name of something. I talked to my Mom today for a little bit and she told me that she was at the eye doctor and was diagnosed with macular degeneration. It is some sort of eye problem that leads to distorted vision, then blurred vision, then partial blindness it seems like… I am pretty worried about this, and I am uncertain how far along she is with it… hopefully it is the early stages and it can be stopped with proper combination of vitamins…
