Donated. Which is pretty good for computers, since many places charge you to take those. There are some independent facilities that will BUY your metal I know…one I know of offhand was on Milwaukee and Leavitt, or at least used to be.

I am horrified that e-recycling has not been covered at different locations/communities within the city of Chicago.
Only one location ?
Wake up City of CHICAGO politicians and e-business this could provide be a training ground for acquiring skills and a resource for components that could make some $$$ for city programs.
I cringe when I monitors and CPU etc. in garbage dumpsters.When it rains and snows I believe we are polluting our environment.
