I can't believe I'm commenting here. But, I bought a similar product back in 1988 at a store in a mall in the US. It might have been this brand. Good quality but it got jammed and for the life of me I could not unstick it. I had to throw it away. I might try this product. Battery/electrical charged trimmers always seem to lose their steam and trimming power after on a few uses.

The platinum XL seems to be the 2nd most popular nose trimmer on Amazon ( looking at review counts ), its has just as high of rating as the #1 trimmer. I was hesitant in getting it, but I think I will as I've tried many electric trimmers and never have they done a good job.

I purchased the Platinum XL in February 2008 and was initially unsure if a manual trimmer would suffice.

Much to my surprise and no hair pulling, this little pocket buddy did a fantastic job. Initially it was a little awkward but the more I use it, the more I like it over anything else I have used before.

It is a little pricey for what the perception is in getting it but as I use it I believe it is well worth it.

I have a few colleagues in my office I will buy this tool for to add to their brief case.

I would definitely recommend the Platinum XL to anyone desiring to trim back the forest growing in their nasal cavity.
