I was wondering if you know of any way to upload songs off of itunes on my computer without deleting all my current songs I already have saved on my ipod. Everytime I upload new songs I have to reload all the other songs that I already had on my ipod and I am growing tired of having to always upload the old songs. Hopefully you can help. Thanks Will

What version of the iPod do you have and how old is it? If you have tried all the instructions, i would try the instructions while your iPod is plugged into THE WALL, charging. If that does not work I am guessing it is a serious issue and may need e looked at by apple to fix it? Sorry I could not be more helpful.

You are the best person I have ever met! Well, short of the really important people I know. Now let me tell you, my mini ipod, blue of course, is like my favorite possession. I mean I could do without my car, before giving up my ipod. I take it everywhere, use it everywhere, ( and I’m a grown woman). Well, all of a sudden yesterday my precious ipod, just FROZE! it was the worst day. I just tried and tried, plugged it into my Bose speakers, the battery charger, even banged it on the granite counter. But tonight I had a lucid moment and googled you. Do I sound happy?

Please help..my Ipod displayed songs but I could not get any sound. I followed the reset instrutions and while it did reset and I could play a song it will not forward to the next song…the same song plays over and over again unless I access the Menu and go to another song …I cannot go to a previous or next song, regardless of the button I hit the same songs repeat..when I connect to the computer to charge
the donot disconnect appears and after 10 hours ‘
the donot disconnect still appears..any thoughts as to what I can do..

my ipod isnt freezing its just making wierd noises and then a folder comes up…i reset it resotre it…then a baterry comes up.. then a sad ipod comes up…then it goes back to the folder.. this damn ipod is crucked up some 1 help me plz

ok i have a mini ipod, the regular one. And i put it on another computer, and out of nowhere, when i went back to see it. it doesnt turn on to the playlist. as soon as i turn it on - the apple pic appears then this picture of like a electrical outlet and the ipod charger comes out..like it needs to be plugged somewhere. and then it quickly turns off again. ive been charging it and charging it,and that picture still comes out when i turn it on! i dont know what to do! i dont think its the battery, because it doesnt show no sign of low battery. just that plugging picture. PLEASE HELP!!

your fix for the lock up was the shizficknit, another words it worked great…it was quite surprising , lot like a rubic cube riddle with all toggle this, press this back and forth, but thank you for saving me the tiem of running to the store and haveing to pay for that (even though i would have never figured it out) as far as the dvd conversion program, i use a program called cucusoft dvd conversion, got it free of the ed2k links, but it works like a charm with all fiel types, thanks 14

I was wondering if you know how to upload videos with sound into an ipod video?

ok i tried everything that you told me and nothing is working my ipod is not frozen the screen said it was out of power so i hooked it up to my charger and it wouldn’t turn on no matter what.

lsn i have an iPod video i think its the fifth generation one! now i ve got this major major problem with it!
recently i got my computer re-installed! so all my songs are lost from the computer! but i still had them in my ipod untill today!
i did not sync my ipod to the computer as i feared i would loose all my songs in my ipod as iTunes would not be able to locate those songs on my computer!
today when i switched on my ipod it said ”CONNECT TO YOUR COMPUTER USE ITUNES TO RESTORE”

Ipod started acting up for no reason. I googled “broken ipod” and this web site came up as first response. Thank you for giving us this free advice!
Don’t give up if you try this remedy. I had to go through the motions four or five times before it repaired the problem. Then I re-instated the factory settings. Lost some songs but the library is full.
