i have a ton of shit to do for school tomorrow. and tons of work related tasks as well. i have 3 meetingsthis week. monday morning week recap. tuesday with client. thursday with google. friday is my work party.

i need to get some more work clothes for these meetings. and for the holiday party. i think tuesday i am going to go to bloomingdales and throw down around five hundo on some threads, a bag, a hat, gloves and a scarf.

i need to work a bit more on a paper that is due tuesday, and figure out what tracks i want on a mix cd. the paper needs to be 3 pages long. i am thinking of making the pages fit inside of a cd booklet. i think it would be great and it would also reduce the ammount i need to write.

i also need to write a paper on the movie american movie. this should be a pain in the ass since the movie doesnt really answer the questions that i need to answer.

tomorrow i will be casting rubber. that should go smoothly. yeah…i bet ya it wont. it never does.

also i need to do my display boards for my ID project.

also i am eating dinner with damon. it his last night in town. you shall be missed friend. i hope you get your visa.

wed: worked until noon then went to class. didnt do much of anything there. then went to taco bell with McKenzie. I havent had taco bell for a long while.

Later that night i went to her house and we drank beer and talked with her friend jeff. it was fun.

thursday i woke up…feeling like hell, walked home…showered and went to my grandmas with my sis. This was pretty cool. it was nice to see the family. i think i was a dick to my mom….i dunno. kids will be kids, right? thought so. also i ate like a fucking pig. and my stomach stretched.

after i came home McKenzie came over and we watched american movie. i have to write a paper on it for class.

friday kristen and i cleaned the whole apartment. it was pretty much spotless. then i took a nap i think and went to the sea and cake show. it was pretty awesome. some serious finger picking going on. it was great.

saturday i woke up. did a whole lot of nothing then started to cook for thunksgiving(my version of thanksgiving). me and the sis made lots of food
mckenzie and damon came over. mckenzie brought wine and headdresses, damon brought chocolates and beer. we ate like hogs and drank.

then they all went to the smog show, i stayed at home doing homework. i worked on that damn illustration many hours.

well then they picked me up and we went to dannys and i had a couple of drinks. then it was back here.

sunday i woke up at like 9:30 cause mckenzie had to work. i started to work more on that damn illustration. worked on it for like 5 hours. watched some beers game. napped. worked on it more. finished. and could not fall asleep

today i was super tired but kinda productive. not really. fed up with school and just want it done.

i have to write 2 papers this week and work a good 5-20 hours on my ID project. how much fun that be. i cant wait

tomorrow i have a meeting with some dude from overture. the company which sells add space on yahoo, msn, lycos etc. kind of interesting. not 100% what the meeting is all about. i am supposed to sit and pick up as much nitty gritty as i can on the company and the procedures and stuff. so i guess i should actually get to bed soon.

tomorrow i also get a flu shot and i will be at work for like 6 hours…MONEY woooooo

then i have drawing and my portfolio critique…yippy(sp? doesnt look right)

good recipe for marinade though. 1/8 cup OJ, 1/8 soy sauce, 1tbsp of brown sugar. mix, and spread that on some potatoes, carrots and onion. throw them up in the oven in some tin foil for 45 min at 350degrees

james hasnt been here for like a week or something. rent is due tomorrow. he is nowhere to be found. he was supposed to move this weekend. he didnt though. maybe it is next weekend?

i did my illustrations last night and today. about 8 hours total work. it looks pretty good though…

finals this week and next….fun fun fun

i picked my classes. my new schedule will be work 8/8:30/9 until 4:30 m/w/f and school t/th from 9-6:40 sweet sweet fun.
i will be taking photo II, painting I, and intro to time based media or time based arts. something like that.

finals are stressing me out right now. i think 3-4 classes left per each. which is kinda nutty.
i want to see if i can get monday off. in order to finish my industrial design project. or at least grab it by the yarbels and shake. i got a good start on it yesterday but i dunno exactly what the teacher is expecting. the equipment in the lab wasnt really up to doing what i needed done. i wish i was at CODDER to program this thing on a machining center to cut the mold. then i could vacume form it like noones business. oh well.

well i am f'n tired so i am going to go to bed. goodnight.

hopefully i will get them the proper days. which would be t/th all day. i would then work all day m/w/f. this would be like 21-24. it would be a few hours more work a week now, and the same ammount of school. the main difference would be that i wouldnt have to commute to school every damn day. which would be nice.

the other sweet things about me going full time are the U-Pass and Student Insurance… so that kind of rules.

this also means i will have to shoot lots of film. which would be a good thing for me. i havent taken pictures in a long azz time.

i am kind of sad that this semester is coming to an end. well mainly because i will miss some of my students and all of my teachers. i cant really complain about my teachers this semester. my sculpture teacher is amazing.

i am hoping i get to see my sculpture teacher in the future, she fucking rules. probably the best teacher i have ever had….

so i have 6 days to complete my next sculpture.

i had a few lined up to do, but the one that i have chosen is going to take a while…like 6 hours to construct and another 6-10 to program/test/install.

i am thinking the weekend is when it needs to get done. either that or i will request to take monday off… we shall see.

i have to get the okay for it from my drawing teacher as well, although i could always do something else for that class. i am getting a 94% in it right now, i may do extra credit to jack my grade up one higher so if my final sucks it doesnt affect as much as it could.

i am attempting to get straight A's, as it will look good on my financial aid application for next year. also if i "show promise" i may be able to get a free ride again next year, through some art funding. kinda cool, kinda a ball of stress….

well i need to get my ass to bed so i am not a zombie tomorrow…i didnt get much sleep last night so i am guessing i will turn in early tomorrow night… we shall see

last night i went to this party in brookfield. it was interesting. i played a theremin which was fun, that and some noise type bass riffs. supposedly i am going to be in a new band. somewhat like early ink and dagger. vampire chug metal i guess. should be fun. i want t sing and make noise for it rather then play a real instrument.

saturday i went to whole foods with McKenzie and i purchased a tofurkey. i think that may be getting cooked next sunday or the day after thanksgiving. we shall see. it better be delicious, i am assuming it will be.

last night i had a brainstorming session before bedtime, about the sculpture that i plan to make for drawing class(yeah i know). it will be used for drawing class because i can do some drawing of it, and also i will be drawing the animation sequence of it in iillustrator, animating it in flash… i still have to get amterials for it. i have a broken computer that i will use for it that i got at school. it was in a locker that i took over. so i call fibs. i have an old monitor here which will be used as a head. i may have to go to my parents and get another old computer to use for the actual workings of it. doing the animation.soundtrack will be a bitch and then wiring everything together and testing it…

it should be pretty awesome when it is done and i will try and show it in a gallery, which would be nice instead of the sculpture room. we will see though.

friday McKenzie came over and we drank beers and watched a movie. James then came over and we drank some more and then went to maries…i ended up pushing jenny and McKenzie into poles and brick walls. I also bite McKenzie in the legs cause large mouth shaped bruises…sounds like the work of werty. I dunno though. He hasnt been around for a while.

On saturday i also went to sultans with james. god that fallefel is good. and 3bones is hell cheap. i will probably eat that at least once this week. i wont be ordering any lentils and rice though. i ate that for 2-3 days….yow.

this week should be hell.
i need to talk to a boss or two at work and find out what is going on with my job. my promotion and all. i need to know this because i have to register for classes next semester on the 20th. i am really freakin gout because i am unsure what to do. on one hand i have a full scholarship for next semester. which is pretty rocking. on the other i have a full time job waiting for me that would be paying GOOD money. this would mean i could buy all the crap that i am going to school to use(darkroom/digital camera/palm pilot/record players/records…etc). however i am really enjoying school and being forced to make things. i want to talk to my favorite teacher and see if she will become my mentor. i think if she gave me assignments i could come up with some wacky high end sculptures for it. i dunno. i also want to learn how to properly paint. and i know she knows how….i just need to ask. she already said i could sit in on her class that she will be teaching at the art institute.

well i dunno. i am going to take some sleep enhancing drugs tonight and hopefully pass the fuck out. sunday nights are usually the night i lay in bed and tweak about the whole week ahead of me. all i know is i have like 3 weeks left of school and about 40 hours of work to do in my industrial design class in order to get a quality end product that can be massed produced….i dont really need to mass produce it but i think that would be one of the perks of making it correctly. xmas gifts and such this year. keep it on the cheap.

my sister and nicole say i am hording my money. it is kind of true. just preparing to pay off my debt. in theory i could pay it all off right now…i am keeping some cash around for an emergency fund, incase i get laid off again or something along those lines.

at some point in the next week or two i need to go to my old place of employment in order to give them my new contact info so i can get my tax forms sent here….sweet sweet taxes.

last night i saw bowling for columbine, i want to move to canada more then ever now. oh yeah. the movie was great. i suggest you all see it. i want to write micheal moore and see if he addressed the lack of wheelchair ramps at the walmart headquarters.

i am eating lou malnatis pizza for lunch. it is pretty damn tasty.

today i get to work a full day which is pretty rockin, i can use the extra cash to add to my savings.

after work i am going to get a haircut. my hair is huge right now. when it first started to get big i kind of liked it. now it is just wacky. The last time I went I bought a hairstick  (From bedhead/Tigi the makers of pet head) to make it messy, but that does do anything anymore. it has been about 9 months or so since i got it cut last.  i am going to have them take a few inches off, but still leave a bit of a shag to it.

this weekend i dont have many plans. tonight i may hang out with McKenzie. probably watch a movie and hit a few drinks.
tomorrow i am going to brookfield to a party at my friend mikes house. that should be interesting.
sunday i am going to a blackhawks game thanks to jay who scored 100 tickets to it somehow.

oh yeah today at work i started to email these ladies who work at yahoo!. it is kind of weird to have professional relationships with people with such status…well at least in the search engine world.

i am really enjoying my job. soon it will be full time, and school will go to the back burner. which i dont mind. UIC is not for me, i love my sculpture teacher but that is about it. she isnt even teaching there next semester. she has a giant art show she has to prepare for, plus she is teaching at the art institute. yesterday my class got to go to about 10 or so galleries. much of the work was laughable. i did however get a really intense idea for a multimedia project that would take the art world by storm…hahaha. there were these 2 old broads walking around with these terrible sculpture/statue things. i have no idea why they bought them. also i got some insider info on an art scene asshole. the guy was a total poof. it was great. i guess all he cares about is money. his gallery was pretty weak. WHEN I GET RICH i will open a gallery. it will rule. free drinks and lappies for all.

oh yeah tonight i have to attend a house meeting. that should be great. i have prepared some valid points to address at the meeting. i am assuming it wont solve any problems, since talking in the past has done nothing.

on another note today is ex-girlfriend torrey newmans birthday. she is 24. she hasnt talked to me in months. i believe she reads this though. so if you do happy birthday.

well i am going to cut my lunch break 10 minutes short, so i can make an additional $3.17. that damn nears covers my cost of lunch today. having a real job rules.

one last thing. last night i finished acid house by irvine welsh, today i started glue. acid house was pretty interesting. i enjoyed smart cunt as well as euro trash. the one i was told i would like i thought was allright. the idea was cool, but i believe it was poorly executed.

andy ended up crashing on my couch last night. that kid got rocked, as well as locked out of his apartment

i went to the owls show last night. they were pretty awesome. it was like watching cap'n jazz

rye coalition was allright. i liked the high kicking and wall jumps more than the music. i was pretty far back and i couldnt see below the waists of the members…then i would see these legs kick up. it was pretty funny looking. it made my night

when i got there sterling was playing and they were really good. it was nice mellow music. i heard the drums outside and it sounded pretty nice. when i came in i saw they had the drummer in front aimed back at the band. i dont know how i feel about that gimmick. the music was good though.

after the shopw i had to hang around the bar to wait for andy. then we went to laithams party. it was pretty interesting. lots of makeout. i think this one girl grabbed this one guy(who was dressed as a sailor) and brought him over to me and tried to make the magic happen. it never did. that girl was awesome. i think it was a girl. i dont even know. she was a mad ass dancer though.

there was some amazing music played there. this song get off by ripple. the bass line is intense.

update: I think what happened that night is we got drunk as funk, came back to my house and smoked way too much, andy ate like 3lbs of halloween candy, and crashed on my couch.
