It is actually much older then that, as I was blogging, before there were blogs. I used to use this service that was somewhat like live journal, but even more low brow. For some reason I am thinking it was on an .ru server… they had 2 services, one was a journal/blog like system the other was a guestbook. I swore I made a backup of all of those from somewhere but I am not sure if I will ever find it.

I checked the whois, and that is showing 2000 as the registration date, but I am pretty sure I had the domain in 96 or 97. Oh the good ol days.

Anyhow after talking to rae about some new template/theme she is using on wordpress I figured it was time to give it an upgrade.

*God Science Willing*, this weekend I will have a brand spanking new look and feel to the site… with more features than ever.

• Living in a condo is the worst thing ever. Better than being homeless however. Also not really that bad, but lots of things that fill me with rage.
• I have gotten sick of working so much and actually turn my computer off on the weekends now
• I still enjoy drinking…some may say too much
• Macs are actually kind of cool and work pretty well, BUT make for expensive dvd players.
• It is good to hang out with friends
• Family can be very interesting
• Chicago can actually be nice, weather wise, but when it warms up the CRAZIES come out.
• oh and we have earthquakes now?

Then I had some talks about taxes.

I had to go to the dentist. This is my first visit since the mouth bling.

Then I watched the cubs lose. I hate sports, but the cubs have a new japanese baseball player who kicked ass. The brewers looked like a bunch of out of shape bitches on the field, yet they still won. Hahahahaha. Pull up your pants fatty. And this is coming from a guy who could gain a bit from running around the bases.

I talked to Rae a bit via bb and that was good! I went on my deck and took a few fun pics. It was nice out. I still need to decide what grill I should buy. Same goes for the patio furniture.

This weekend I watched a movie, hung out with some friends, played with a dog, saw puke in both a toilet and Urinal, ate a burger with bacon and an egg on it, saw my family, hid speaker wires in a wall, mounted some other speakers to a wall, hid some other wires, shaved my head and beard, cleaned my place, tried some new beers, did a bunch of pullups… and ordered some new music.

Movie: No Country for Old Men,  this movie was pretty awesome. Half the people in it are hard as fucking nails. made my life feel boring.

Amateur Hour: The bars did not seem overly crowded on Friday, but there were some serious drunks out and about. At a smaller neighbor hood/hipster bar some dude/s puked both in the urinal and the toilet. GROSS

Shaved: I now look like 40 bux.

Hiding Wires/ Mounting Speakers. I ordered some mounts for 3 of my speakers and finally put them up today. It took way longer than it should have… turns out my walls are at least 2 layers of drywall think…to help deaden the sound. ANYHOW… the wall anchors were not made for that thick of wall. I did not know that going in though. The mounts needed 4 1/2" holes to be drilled… which seems like way too much… anyhow it was finally mounted, you cannot see the holes. Then my 2 front ones I used different non recommend screws to hold the speakers. We will see how they hold up. I think they will be fine. 4, 2" drywall screws going through 2 whole sheets of drywall. That is a layer of paint, 4 layers of paper, and all the drywall in between…on 4 screws holding up a 3-4 lb speaker. Think it will be fine, but maybe with time it will loosen up. Either way I know for the future I can go get some longer anchors if I needed and drill out the screw holes with the big bit.

I also routed some speaker wire through the walls… it looks pretty good. Well it is hidden at least

I found some new motivation in the last month; I bought one of these pull up bars and caught wind of these 2 groups:

Cross fit and my new favorite: THE BARTENDAZ. These guys are great. I hope there is a group similar in Chicago. I am hoping I can do 1 of the crazy ass moves in the following video by the end of the year. Wish me luck.

What move is your favorite? The ones that blow my mind are the one where he jumps to the next bar above, and also the arm stalls, where the one dude rest his whole weight on his forearms… INSANE!

I have like 40 emails that I owe replies to, 165 blog posts, 12 phone calls, 200 web sites to build, millions of dollars to be made, taxes to complete, house work to do and the list goes on and on and on. I am hoping once the weather gets nicer I will sit on my deck and forget about everything (c:

Darwin Awards Review:Last night I watched this shite movie The Darwin Awards. Netflix needs a zero star. This movie was terrible, just terrible. Some of the characters were lovable and the movie contained 1 or 2 funny parts. My favorite was the wife of the guy who witnesses the rocket car. Her lines/acting were great. I am not sure how this ended up in my mailbox, but it did. DO NOT RENT THIS, or if you do, let me know your opinion.

Work is going well. Going through some growing pains right now but that is a good thing. Need to quit being a bum and work harder. I am finally on a normal work schedule which is crazy. It has been 2 years since I have had a 9-5 (in this case 10am until as late a 1:30 am (c:). Been way busy setting everything in order…starting to get a better grasp of what was going on the last 2 years (c: I have been greedy and selfish. I now have a family I want to take of. (c: (not what you think)

I bought a pull up bar. It should increase the value of my home self 100K. Honestly, it is great. More to come.

Tooth number 15 (my upperleft molar) pretty much is dead, but will be full of BLING on the 5th. I had to get a root canal and now a crown. This means that tooth will be worth more than my car. Wondering when I will get the rest of my grill done.

I am still trying to get a hold of everything…and get my shit back in order. I know lots of great of people and I have not been that great at the communication. This needs to change and will change. I am thinking it will be Friday night 'I email everyone I have been a jerk to lately night'.

The baby is named after my late father and older brother, Horace O’Donal Turner, Senior and Junior, respectively. We will probably call the baby “Race”, but since his initials are H.O.T. III, that’s triple hot, so maybe we’ll call him “Grabbe Ka Init”, or “Init Kaiau” (very hot), or just “Init”, which means “hot” in Visayan, but probably not.
