I have been very stressed out. There has been a lot going on lately, and it has been forever since I updated.
It seems like I am no longer in control of my days. They just come and go and stack a large pile of whatever it is in front of me. Enough to keep me busy or annoyed and with my "eye no longer on the prize".
While most people are interested in being more productive at work there are others looking for ways to waste time.
About 8 years ago I had an hourly job and I was contractor… I would work too fast and run out of things to do and have to go home early. My boss taught me to slow down so I would always have work to do and get a bigger paycheck
I was reading one of the many articles about how our economy is f'd and I was looking at "football f'n"(as in 2 monkeys f'n a football) going on in Washington. Anyhow I guess there is some awesome new bailout program they are trying to come up with which is supposed to stimulate the economy and only cost 800 billion dollars.
I really hate to have my first blog post this year (and first in a few months) be as lame as a post about popcorn, but I could not help it. The weird after taste and knowing I ingested chemicals I normally refuse to eat, has really got to me… so here it goes.
I went to Ireland and Italy with my sister and her fiance over xmas / newyears this last year. The trip was pretty awesome, other then a nasty bout of food poisoning that I got… between us we took around 1300 photos and some short movies… I have always wanted to do all of the photos from a trip, or a lifetime and run them at a few frames a second and get a short movie that documents a large span of time, but I have never found an easy way of doing it…
The last time I went to Las Vegas I went on a meat eating binge and had a steak pretty much every night. I think part of the reason is that I had a bunch of dinners planned for business/networking and of course everyone wanted to get steak. I was lucky enough to to some of “the best” steakhouses in Las Vegas, here are my reviews:
