I finally got a new cell phone. It took about two days, 5 lines at best buy, numerous customer service calls and 108 dollars but I now have a phone. Friday I swap out my laptop. I hope the new ones wi-fi works…if not I swap them back and get a separate wlan card. Probably a good Orinoco one with a plug for an external antenna so I can go around “war driving’. There seems to be many open networks in the area, it would be interesting to see which ones I can connect to. Woo.
The month is coming to an end, I will be glad to put it behind me. Not sure what is going on for the 4th, probably some drinking and fireworks.
The best part about this is message is that I typed it from my bed. So good. I have no idea why I did not get a laptop sooner…now only if they made one with an ergonomic keyboard and a modular mouse that snapped off.
