I saw this years ago in SPIN or something like “The Top Ten Teen Agngst Films” and wrote it down. I was cleaning up a bunch of shit on my desk and found it. I want to rent them all from NetFlix at somepoint.

9. Over the Edge
10. Rebel without a Cause
Of this list I have only seen American Graffiti, Welcome to the Dollhouse, The Breakfast Club, parts of The River Edge, Rumble Fish, and I have seen Over the Edge about 30 times… I love this movie. I think it was Matt Dillions first movie…it is about some suburb in the middle of arizona and how there is nothing to for these kids other than drugs and party. At the end there is a riot and the kids lock all the parents in the school and burn cars and set things on fire, it is brilliant.
I need to rent the rest of these at somepoint. The point of this post is to remind me to rent these and to make the list permanent and prevent it from getting lost in my crap for 5+ years.
Update: (august 17 2006) I have now seen 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9 and 10.
