I guess there is a new service called ClickStar coming out that has lots of financial backing. It seems to be a download movies before they come on DVD service sponsored by some hollywood heavyweights.
As long as they have a free trial I would be interested in trying out Clickstar. I think the most difficult task would be to get these movies to play on my TV. Netflix and such should probably be worried, since a service like Clickstar mixed with a Tivo or some digital cable = the end of their profitable dvd rental business.

This would reduce the amount of pirated movie downloads, because once you think about it, who wants to waste time on a crappy quality movie download when you can get full quality DVD –like play for the cost of one rental. And own it!!!!
I am completely for this. Before it reaches theatres and in my hands before it actually comes out (beats the dubs). You gotta love it!
*At least less people will buy the illicit versions.
