Extreme Yogurt

Well on about the 15th of last month my work put in a gym and I started to work out. In addition to this I started to try and eat a touch healthier…why you ask? I gained 30lbs since I moved to Canada…the curse of having a car and no where to walk to…oh how I miss the city life…but that is another story.

What this post is about is the new extreme yogurts on the market, well at least here in Canada.

The first is Activia from Danon or Danone if you are fancy. Supposedly this yogurt contains *puts pinky in front of mouth* ONE BILLION active bacteria cells…a bit scary, but it is supposed to be good for you. I like this yogurt a lot and my sister said it is now available in the good ol US of A. It comes in a variety of flavors and I happen to fancy the prune flavor…it is damn good. This sis says it tastes like cherries? I dunno.

Well I thought ONE BILLION was insane, and then I found the mother of all bacteria! BIO-K+ – BioKPlus is this crazy ass yogurt that contains at least 50 BILLION live bacteria cells…which is equal to eating 1000 regular old fashioned yogurts, or 250 acidohilus capsules, or 50 Activia yogurts…

I am not 100% sure why you need this bacteria but it supposed to help those who are lactose intolerant digest dairy products…and I fall in to that category. My stomach has also been better since I started regulary eating this stuff *knock on wood*

Have you eaten any other extreme products mainly those that contain digestive enzymes or helper bacterias?

OMG, you fruit. LOL. Red meat, potatoes and alcohol. All a guy (or gal) needs. 😉
