Shoveling Snow & BackPain?

So I am wondering if I am just a pussy or what, but it seems like everytime I shovel the snow my back is a little tweaked the next day or so.

Yes I do sit on my ass 9/10 of the day, but I would think after a few times of this I would build up a tolerance. The snow was not even that bad or heavy yesterday (like an inch) yet a have a little muscle ache like I hit the gym hard. I did do the whole thing at warp speed so I would be ready when company came over…

So what one/s is it:

1. Shoveling is the ultimate exercise and it will work your back out, always.
2. You shovel like an idiot and should focus on how you do it rather than the speed you shovel at
3. You are a pussy
4. Your back is seriously messed up and you will be crippled in 5 years.
5. Get normal exercise and shut your complain hole
6. Hire one of your bratty long haired neighbors to do it.

I’m leaning towards #4 😉

Do yourself a favor, and get one of these..

I was leaning to more of #3.

I also forgot I was doing rows at the gym the other night, so that may be part of this. I sometimes forget what a stud I am.

I am not getting that wovel…although it reminds me of something from Baron Munchausen. I am not sure why either.

Ha.. I actually meant to type #3, but my hands were still too cold to type. #4 was a close second though.

Get the Wovel damnit. I’m sure you have plenty of room to store that behemoth.

ugh, i feel your pain. no really, I do. i vote for #3, but suggest that maybe you have a shitty shovel.

I have shoveled diligently and am proud that my driveway/sidewalk is 90% snow free. not just half-assed clear, I mean scraped clean right down to the bare pavement, ice and all. I even threw down a little salt to keep it clear. I have the best-shoveled property on our street, and I owe it all to our ergonomic shovel

West-LA stay-at-home Mom’s pay $100 per hour to a personal trainer for that kind of work out. Maybe you can fly them out and have them pay you for the privilege!

Throw in some light house-cleaning and call it “cross training”… I think you could make a mint. 😉

7. Shoveling is fun. (when you have this attitude, it’s not so bad)
