I had to go down to Las Vegas for PubCon last week, and did not want to repeat SES San Jose – That was the first conference I went to EVER without a cell phone. Man did that suck.

So I had limited ingredients, and limited time and found a really simple recipe that was great over at allrecipes.com
This is the original recipe:
Ingredients
8 chicken thighs
6 small red potatoes, quartered
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil, or as needed
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

I was back in the USA 2 weekends ago and went to a new “Super Target” store. It is like a target, but has a grocery section in it…and they carried one of the products I was craving up here in Canada, but could not find anywhere: Cavenders Greek Seasoning:

As you can see I have been accepted into the YPN trial program. YPN is the Yahoo Publishers Network, which is Yahoo’s alternitive/competitor to Google AdSense. I have only had them run on here for one full day, but was able to get a decent idea of CTR (click through rate) and click cost. The CTR is terrible, but so is the targetting (hopefully this will change), but the CPC (cost per click) is around 10-20x more then what I was getting from google. CRAZY. Crazy Indeed.

This is the second painting I am working on, only the background is finished. I will not be able to paint this weekend, because I will be in Las Vegas for Pubcon. If you see me down there give me hello.

So I have been pretty flipping busy lately, mainly due to work, and other stresses, but for the last two weekends I started to paint again, and it has been great. The first one I did had this image that I drew on my whiteboard over at locallaunch.com, and loved it so much I traced it to paper. I thought I lost it when I first moved here, but found it later and hung it on my fridge. Well tonight I took pictures of it, so I could trace it in illustrator, for future use and decided to take pictures of my 2 paintings while the camera was out:
